The Social Prescribing Qualification Partnership (“SPQP”, “We”, “Our” or “Us”) is a partnership between Conexus Healthcare Limited, Bromley by Bow Centre and The University of East London.

This Legal Notice (“Notice”) together with Our Privacy Notice sets out the terms of use on the Users of Our Training, Services and Sites.

Intellectual Property Rights and Licence

  1. We are the owner of all intellectual property rights in, and to, all of the Sites and Services (unless clearly stated otherwise), and in the material published on them. Our works are protected by copyright laws and treaties. All such rights are reserved to Us.
  2. No copying or distribution for any commercial or business use is permitted without Our prior written consent.
  3. Our status as the authors of material on the Sites must always be acknowledged.
  4. Where license for access is granted as part of the course to Sites, access is only granted while an active, valid subscription is in place. Your rights to use any downloaded content are void on expiration of Your subscription.
  5. In the event of a breach of this article, SPQP will pursue full compensation for all direct and indirect damage caused.

Payment

  1. Payment must be made by BACS transfer to the account stated on the invoice.
  2. Payment must be received in full at least 6 weeks before the start of the course.
    1. If the course begins in less than 6 weeks from the date you book onto the course, payment must be sent upon receipt of the invoice.
    2. The purchaser must pay any bank charges relating to the transfer of monies.
  3. Please ensure you have set Conexus Healthcare Ltd as a supplier on your SBS system if this applies.

Venue and Equipment Requirements

Face to Face courses

  1. The sessions will be delivered at a venue selected and arranged by the Organiser. Venue costs are not included in this proposal.
  2. We recommend that the layout of the room includes tables for learners to sit around and ask that the Organiser ensures that there is enough room around the tables for learners to sit comfortably for the duration of the session(s).
  3. We ask that you endeavour to source venues with a projector, flip chart stand, paper and flip chart pens available as part of the hire or to ensure they are available on the day.
  4. As a minimum, we ask that refreshments such as water, tea and coffee are provided. Lunch and other refreshments are arranged by the Organisers at their discretion.

Online Courses

  1. Courses will be conducted through software that is accessible and facilitates online teaching and learning.
    1. Learners will be notified of software arrangements prior to each Unit.
    2. Pre-recorded material will be provided to you through access to our Sites

Training materials

  1. The Social Prescribing Partnership team will use a range of training materials for the delivery of the level 3 qualification. These materials remain the intellectual property of Conexus and the Social Prescribing Qualification Partners and must not be distributed without consent of all the partners.

Organiser Responsibilities

  1. It is the Organiser’s responsibility to ensure that learners are booked onto the course and are aware of the dates of each of the face to face training sessions
  2. For each learner to receive a certificate in the Level 3 Social Prescribing Qualification, it is required that they attend each session of the course and submit all required assignments.
  3. Learner names and email addresses will be confirmed by the Organiser no later than six weeks prior to the date of the first session.
  4. If places are booked with less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the course, the organiser must supply these details upon confirmation of the booking.
  5. Please send these learner names and email addresses, via email, to team@socialprescribingqualification.org.uk.
  6. Learners will receive a learner handbook with important guidance and instructions, including how to register on the Virtual Learning Environment and an invite to an introductory webinar with the course team.
  7. The Organiser can change or add learners with prior notice of one working week to the course start date. Please let us know the name of the new learner by emailing the information outlined above to the email address provided. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for individual places. There are no restrictions on the Organiser in working with neighbouring areas to fill the places based on the rates paid
  8. All resources used in this Level 3 Qualification will be added to the virtual learning environment (VLE). Learners will also be required to upload their assignments to the VLE for marking. Although there are no specific entry requirements, the Level 3 Social Prescribing Qualification is a 178.5-hour course, with 73.5 of those hours being outside of the sessions. Assignments are expected to be completed using software such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint therefore learners will need to have basic IT skills and access to a computer.

We will endeavour to work with you to find alternative arrangements should you need re-arrange and the cancellation notification timings as outlined in ‘cancelations and postponement’ are adhered to.

 

Liabilities

Conexus or the Social Prescribing Qualification Partnership shall not be liable to the Client in respect of any special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, Conexus does not endorse any individual or comment on any individual’s ability, competency or suitability to undertake any activities whatsoever.

 

We will not be liable for: loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
